CS3 is different than CS5.5, but I daresay I prefer it. For my smaller-sized projects, it's a smaller application to deal with, and it does essentially the exact same thing with the exact same quality.
So here's my workspace for most of my animations. I try to keep it as uncluttered as possible.
The guy in the picture is a remake of a REALLY old character for an animation concept I had almost two years ago.
When I finish all of those old characters I'll post for comparison.
However, they eventually caught on and are what I came to use. Hunter and Gazer work, but Blade, Shepherd and PWNR push it.
The only original character name I really like is Ragnaul; I created it last year when thinking of a username for a Deviantart account, while reading Norse mythology in English class. All of the names of the Norse gods were taken, so I created a mold of a few and produced Ragnaul.
The character came much later.
